New and Aspiring Head’s HR Breakfast Briefings

Have you become a Headteacher in the last two years?
Are you due to become a Headteacher in September?
or
Are you an aspiring Headteacher?

 

 

Sarah Sproston and Nuala Hadden, Cheshire East HR Officers and Accredited Safer Recruitment Trainers, are running a series of breakfast briefings for new and aspiring heads.  The workshops will allow you to identify your leadership style, explore the culture that you would like to embed into your school or academy and understand the HR issues that may arise and how to deal with them.  It will also give you the opportunity to make connections with other new and aspiring heads to develop a support network for the future.

 

 

All sessions will be held at the Chimney House Hotel, Congleton Road, Sandbach


Session 1  -  10th October 2018 – 9.00 – 11.00
      
Setting the culture, raising standards, leadership styles, situational leadership and employee wellbeing

 

Session 2 – 13th February 2018 – 9.00 – 11.00      
An introduction to managing sickness absence, capability and disciplinary

 

Session 3 – 1st May 2018 – 9.00 – 11.00
Performance management including appraisal, having difficult conversations, giving and obtaining effective feedback

 

Session 4 – 26th June 2018 – 9.00 – 11.00
Effective communication, change management and a guide to restructuring.

 

 

The total price for all four sessions is £100 for schools/academies who buy back Cheshire HR Consultancy and £150 for non-buy back schools/academies.
Tea, coffee and a light breakfast will be provided.
