The Facilities Management Service will
provide Head Teachers and Governors with advice to assist with the effective and safe management of the school premises. Options available include packages for legionella and asbestos related services to enable schools to meet their statutory obligations.

(Property Helpdesk)

Survey - (schools built pre 2000)

Check and Liaison Visit to advise on statutory compliance
• All Schools - Legionella Risk
Assessment
• All Schools - Legionella Monitoring and
temperature checks (12 visits per year)
• All Schools - Fire Risk Assessment and
fire safety advice
• All Schools - Display Energy
Certificate (DEC)
• All Schools - Energy Advisory Report
(AR) – (Required to ensure that a DEC can be completed)
• Converting Foundation & Trust,
Free & Academy and Voluntary Aided Schools - Duty Holder Conversion (to ensure school compliance with Regulation 4 (Duty to Manage) of under the
Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012)
• All Schools - Training for staff – Online
